I love a dance song with heartbreaking lyrics. Sad music rings truer to me, but baby, I got things to do! I need that drum machine poppin'! If we're going to have a cry it's going to be on the dance floor. I listen to music when I write (I link my current wip playlist on my site) but this song in particular has been carrying me through the last stretch of fulltime work + multiple nesting doll deadlines.
The band is Sipper and their whole Pink Album is a no-skip wonder. This song in particular makes me feel like I'm about to walk into prom wearing Annie Pott's reconfigured pink dress. I hope you love it as much as I do!
